How many pictures will we receive?
With our standard sessions, you'll receive 15 edited, ready-to-print, digital files for you to print, share and use any way you wish. Additional digital files will be available for purchase from your online gallery.
How should we dress for our family session?
Pastel or muted colors always look great on the beach. For a more traditional look, white tops and khaki bottoms work great, too. But, you're always welcome to wear what makes you feel good. Maxi dresses look GREAT on the beach. Try to stay away from neon colors, tight patterns and thin stripes.
What’s the best time to have a photo session in Florida?
Early morning sessions and sunset time-slots provide the best natural lighting for photos. But, we can shoot anytime within the last two hours of daylight, if it's better for your schedule. Mid-day sessions are not provided due to high-temperatures and harsh shadows, which can make family members uncomfortable.
We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
Absolutely! As you're Photographer, my job is to take the stress out fo the session and make this one of the best experiences you'll have in front of a lens. I'll help set you up with natural poses and give you tips on what to do to get some amazing candid photos, as well.
Will I receive the RAW files of my photos?
RAW files are not provided. The photos you'll receive with be the final, edited versions in print-ready, JPEG format.
Can you make me look 20lbs thinner?
Not really. But, I've got a GREAT personal trainer that can help you get in the best shape of your life before your session! Just kidding! Listen... we all have room to make self-improvement, but I encourage you to embrace the person you are today and come expecting to have a good time. When it comes to photos, a great personality and confidence trumps superficial beauty EVERYTIME!
My husband is not very attractive. Can you make him look like George Clooney?
I'll do you one better. I'll replace every image of your husband with George Clooney himself! You'll be the envy of the office when your coworkers see your family photos. (This question is just a joke, ladies. Be nice to your husbands. They've agreed to be in the pictures. Throw the dog a bone ;)
Where will the photo session take place?
New Port Richey offers a lot of different options for photography locations. Downtown Main Street; Sims Park; Green Key Beach, to name a few. But, we can travel as far as Tarpon Springs or Spring Hill, if you have a specific location in mind. For larger sessions like Weddings or corporate events, I am definitely willing to travel further for an additional travel fee.
